Carl Perkins Center – Tour of Homes

The Annual tour of homes, sponsored by the Carl Perkins Center, will take place on December 14 from 1-5pm. This is a fundraiser for the prevention of child abuse.

Henderson Christmas Parade

The Henderson Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 4 at 7:00pm.  The parade route begins at First Baptist Church and ends at the four way stop at Church Street.  The performance area will be on the “Henderson Carpet Red Carpet” in front of the Courthouse.  There is no fee to enter the parade, but we do ask for a donation of two bags of candy.  Entries must be 18 years old, have a valid TN Drivers License and valid insurance.  All entries must register in person at the Chamber of Commerce office. First UMC Thanksgiving Chester

The people of First United Methodist Church, 131 North Ave., Invite the community to a Thanksgiving Dinner featuring turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, rolls, dessert, good fellowship, and music. No string attached! Dinner will be from 11:30am until 2:30pm on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. All Chester County residents are invited.

Fall Luncheon at Hickory Corner

There will be a fall pot luck luncheon meal at 11am at the Hickory Corner Community Center Saturday, Nov 15. It will be a day of good food and fellowship. Invite your family and friends. Everyone is welcome to bring a dish and enjoy the day.

Faith, Hope & Love Church hosts all-day Fall Fest

Faith, Hope & Love Ministries at 992 West Main St. will old an all-day Fall Fest Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov 15. “Neal’s Wonderful Stew will be ready for pickup between 10:30am and noon. Be Sure to book your gallon in advance by calling 731-870-0120. An $18 donation is requested. There will also be an all-day bake sale with some of the best home-made baked goods around.

Chicken and Dressing dinner will be served from 4-6pm. Eat in or take out. Get your tickets by calling 731-879-0120. A $10 donation is requested.

The Fall Fest begins at 6pm. There will be cakewalk, silent auction, Bible challenge, fish-pond, corn hole, fun for the kids and prizes.
