The Henderson Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 4 at 7:00pm. The parade route begins at First Baptist Church and ends at the four way stop at Church Street. The performance area will be on the “Henderson Carpet Red Carpet” in front of the Courthouse. There is no fee to enter the parade, but we do ask for a donation of two bags of candy. Entries must be 18 years old, have a valid TN Drivers License and valid insurance. All entries must register in person at the Chamber of Commerce office. The Chester County BBQ Festival is in downtown Henderson. Friday and Saturday, September 26 & 27, 2014. More information soon.

At 6:30pm in the courtroom upstairs in Henderson City Hall, the candidates running for a full time position will have 4 minutes to speak to all chamber members and community members.

The Chester County Historical Society to meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7 at the Senior Citizens Center. Dr. Shawn Pitts will speak about McNairy and Chester County’s shared musical history and the history of broom making from the area. Everyone is welcome.
