Henderson Farmers Market is a Friday morning ritual for residents who want to buy fresh and stay close to home. The farmers market is one of the first projects University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Agent Steve Rickman tackled a few months into his new role. The market is located at Gene Record Park — 455 N Church Ave, Henderson.
A variety of vendors give shoppers options, including fresh Gulf shrimp, pork, chicken, beef, strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes and baked goods. The Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Fridays and will remain open through the summer months until October.
